Supervise and manage Paraprofessionals and Direct Care Staff (Community Support Workers) for the purpose of assuring quality clinical services, documentation, and professional conduct as it relates to patient care and professionalism. The Clinical Manager evaluates the team in conjunction with appropriate psychiatric support to ensure excellence through courteous, helpful, and respectful services to program consumers. Workers Supervised: Community Support Workers (CSW), Care Coordinators, Therapists.
Must have the ability to communicate all pertinent information to Clinical Director, Medical Director, and Corporate Executives, as needed. As well as develop, supervise, and encourage Clinical staff, CSWs in the Mission and Vision of the organization.
1. Note Review and countersign all CSW notes within 48 hours of it being entered into the electronic medical record system, Credible. Correct and provide feedback as needed for the purpose of ensuring a quality note (see MHRS 3400 Regulations).
2. Provide Minimum Weekly Individual or Group Supervision for CSW Team to provide support for, but not limited to: Productivity, Clinical Content, Difficult Consumer Issues, DBH Updates, Corporate Updates, Training, Etc.
3. Direct the day-to-day operations of the team, including scheduling staff to ensure appropriate coverage for routine and on-call hours. Ensures there is face-to-face coverage for 24/7 operation consistent with the organization's philosophy.
4. Attend mandatory Clinical Team meetings.
5. Provide Random Quality Assurance Checks with Consumers to ensure Professional/Quality Care. All Quality Assurance to be coordinated and documented in connection with the Quality Assurance Director, and Quality Assurance Plan. (Reference QA Policy and Plan)
6. Leads the daily organizational and Clinical meetings; continuously evaluates the status of consumers and does appropriate planning and coordination of treatment activities to ensure immediate attention to their changing needs.
7. Initiates and maintains relationships with law enforcement and other human services agencies, and with community resources, such as landlords, employers, etc.
8. Assist with facilitation of Monthly Patient Review in coordination with Clinical Director, Medical Director, and other members of Treatment Team.
9. Provide weekly Productivity for Clinical Team as well as other reporting tools to measure key quality and quantity indicators as indicated by senior management.
10. Assist with business development and other creative ideas to reach budgetary goals as indicated by the budget, and senior management.
11. Provide management, supervision, service, and other related duties as needed to meet the goals of the programs located in the Washington DC location.

Education/Experience:
The Clinical Manager position requires the applicant to be licensed in the District of Columbia in one of the following licenses (LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, NPR and/or MD).
Two years minimum direct-care clinical services with individuals with Mental Health disabilities.
Must understand the Medical Assistance requirements for Outpatient Mental Health Clinics.
Must be familiar with or available to be trained on the EMR system.
