Job Overview

Vanguard Industrial Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Foreman to lead crews on a large-scale data center construction project in Monroe, Louisiana. This is an early-stage build with an estimated duration of 1–2 years, offering long-term stability, consistent overtime, and leadership responsibility on a high-impact project.

The ideal candidate will bring strong foreman-level experience, the ability to lead and develop crews, and a deep understanding of industrial electrical systems. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive productivity, enforce safety standards, and ensure high-quality execution across all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a crew of 5–10 industrial electricians on-site.

  • Provide clear direction, expectations, and daily work plans to field teams.

  • Read and interpret construction documents including drawings, cable schedules, and specifications.

  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA standards and project safety requirements.

  • Oversee quality control and ensure all installations meet project and code standards.

  • Plan work activities to maximize efficiency and productivity.

  • Anticipate potential job site challenges and proactively implement solutions.

  • Monitor crew performance, enforce accountability, and maintain high work standards.

  • Lead by example in safety, work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism.

  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth execution.

  • Represent the company professionally with customers and other contractors.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Foreman leading industrial electrical crews required.

  • Journeyman-level industrial electrical knowledge and field experience required (license not required).

  • OSHA 30 Certification required (completed within the last 5 years).

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction documents, and job site coordination.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage workflow, and maintain productivity.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial construction environment.

  • Reliable transportation to the project site.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive hourly pay: $33–$35 per hour
