Finance MBA Summer Intern

Position Summary:

ParetoHealth is at the forefront of redefining employee benefits and risk management solutions. Our Finance team plays a crucial role in ensuring the company's financial health by driving strategic decision-making, optimizing operations, and delivering actionable insights that support growth and innovation.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance MBA Intern to join our Finance team. This role offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will contribute to impactful projects, gain exposure to financial operations, and build foundational skills for a career in finance.

Competencies desired:

• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to see the big picture and understand the organization and analyze trends at a macro level.
• Excel Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, including functions like pivot tables, v-lookups, and financial modeling.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate findings and collaborate effectively with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cost management and efficiency initiatives.
• Conduct research and contribute to financial modeling projects to support strategic planning.
• Assist in maintaining financial systems and tools, ensuring accurate data input and reporting.

About you:

• Currently pursuing or have completed a MBA degree at an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work in our Philadelphia, PA office beginning in June through August.
