Junior Legal and Business Development Coordinator (Trademark/IP Practice)
I am an independent solo lawyer with a practice focused on trademark and intellectual property matters. I am looking for a junior hire who can grow with the practice by learning how I work, helping keep matters moving, supporting client and professional relationship development, and gradually taking on more responsibility over time.
This is not a large-firm role. The person in this position will work closely with me in a hands-on environment where organization, judgment, writing ability, initiative, and follow-through matter. It is a good opportunity for someone who wants meaningful responsibility, close mentorship, and exposure to both legal work and the business side of building a practice.
I am open to candidates from a junior attorney, paralegal, or strong legal support background. The title and exact structure of the role may depend on experience, but the core need is the same: I am looking for someone smart, organized, commercially aware, and eager to become genuinely useful in a growing solo practice.

This is a solo independent practice, not a large firm. The role offers direct involvement, close mentorship, and meaningful responsibility. It also requires maturity, sound judgment, and comfort in an environment where initiative and follow-through matter. The role is in person because trust, collaboration, and close working rapport are important to me.
Compensation
Compensation structure is open and will depend on experience, background, and the final shape of the role. I am open to discussing arrangements that may begin on a part-time, trial, or other practical basis depending on fit and circumstances.
