Do you want to work in fun, fast paced environment!? The School Age Program at the Mystic Valley YMCA is the place for you! Our program is dedicated to the youth of Malden, Everett and Medford. This program is a space for youth to express themselves through arts, stem music and more! This job gives you the space to creative fun curriculum based on your likes! This job will allow you to make a difference in the lives of youth, by becoming a key role in their daily lives.
Qualifications:
1. Excited and committed to making a difference in the lives of the children they work with, and serve as a positive role model
2. Provide a positive, safe, fun, and memorable quality experience to all children and families
3. Develop and Implement age appropriate curriculum
4. Must be a team player and be able to communicate effectively with coworkers
5. Be able to create a fun, diverse, and engaging environment
6. Completion of Early Education and Childcare Trainings
7. First Aid and CPR certified preferred, but training available in the first 60 days
8. All Candidates must meet the states EEC qualifications including but not limited to Criminal Records Check, Fingerprinting, and verification of work experience and references
9. High School Diploma or higher and Experience working with school age kids
10. 16 years of age or older
Days/Hours : Monday – Friday; Program schedule 1:30pm – 6:00pm. Summer camp program hours 7:30a-6p - shifts are available within that range.
Job Types : part-time Pay: $15.50 – 20.00 per hour, based on experience
