Adis Electric is hiring a Licensed Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician for a Service Technician position . This role is primarily residential service work , with occasional light commercial service . This is not new construction and not a production environment .

You will: Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and fix electrical issues in homes – from tripped breakers and faulty wiring to lighting installations – ensuring safe, reliable solutions for our customers.Project Management: Oversee electrical projects from start to finish, including installations, upgrades, and maintenance. You’ll plan, execute, and wrap up jobs with quality and efficiency.Safety & Quality: Follow all safety protocols, electrical codes, and company quality standards on every job. You take pride in doing the job right and leaving the work area safe and tidy.Customer Service: Interact with homeowners professionally and courteously. Explain electrical issues and repair options in clear, friendly terms, providing top-notch customer service to ensure each client is satisfied with our work.Team Leadership: Work alongside and mentor apprentice electricians or helpers as needed. You’ll share your knowledge, supervise their work to meet our standards, and foster a positive learning environment. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a skilled Residential Service Technician who thrives in a customer-focused environment and enjoys taking control of their earning potential. Electrical License: Current Texas Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license (required).Experience: At least 3 years of residential electrical service experience, with strong hands-on troubleshooting skills.Technical Skills: Solid mechanical aptitude and knowledge of home electrical systems (wiring, panels, lighting, etc.). You can safely handle the physical demands of the job.Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills. You’re friendly, professional, and able to put customers at ease while solving their problems.Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (with a clean driving record) to travel to job sites within our service area.Integrity: Ability to pass a background check and drug test, as we trust our team in our customers’ homes.Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional on-call evenings or weekends (as needed) to help customers with emergency needs.
