Job Description

Title: Safety Coordinator Immediate Supervisor: Director, Owner General Job Summary: Responsible for creating and coordinating all safety protocols for company including but not limited to OSHA compliance. Principal duties and Responsibilities: Create and implement weekly safety meetings including topic schedule, handouts and sign off sheets in accordance with OSHA guidelines to keep company in compliance. Provide training of staff as necessary on best practice procedures and techniques to ensure safety. Coordination of any audits or presentations as necessary. Keep detailed, organized records of all documentation as it pertains to safety. Advise company on any changes that need to be made. May be required to hold training on safety procedures or visit sites to monitor compliance with procedures. Review and updating of company safety manual. Position Requirements: High School Diploma Have the ability to complete assignments with no supervision and self-direct daily activities Organized and motivated to provide project support as directed Conscientious professional who has a pleasant phone manner and excellent organizational skills 1-3 years previous safety experience in the field. Telecom industry or construction industry experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to handle multiple tasks (This is not a complete listing of all duties and responsibilities.
