Pool Cleaning Technician - Seasonal

If you are passionate about pools and love spending time outside, this is the perfect summer job for you! As a Pool Cleaning Technician , you'll be responsible for keeping our client's pools sparkling clean and well-maintained. From balancing chemicals to maintaining water levels, you'll be the go-to person for all things pool-related. Plus, you'll get to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air all day long. So, grab your sunscreen and apply now! Our season starts in mid-May to mid/end of August, making this perfect for college students especially those that don't want to sit in an office all day

• Compensation – $19-$22 per hour 
• Full time seasonal employees are offered 3 days of PTO for the season, eligible after 30 days on the job. If PTO is not used during the season, the balance will be paid out as an end of the season bonus.

Schedule and other stuff to know?  

• Our office is based in Brecksville, OH; Pool Cleaning Technicians are assigned a route of commercial swimming pools to be assigned cleaning responsibilities. 
• Customers hire us because they trust us to keep their pools and maintained for their swimmers 7 days a week. 
• Our Pool Cleaning Technicians can work 5 -7 days a week averaging between 35-45 hours. If selected for an interview, scheduling preferences will be discussed. 
• Pool cleaners start early, about 6:00 a.m., and end their day once their assigned pool routes are clean. Start early and end early to enjoy your day! 

Requirements  

What do we need from you?  

• Ability to work early in the day (start time between 6-7 am) 
• Physically able to perform and lift up to 50lbs. 
• Comfortable handling chemicals 
• Work outdoors in variety of conditions (heat, rain, storm, etc.) 
• Previous pool experiences preferred but not required. 
• Must be at least 18 with a valid Driver's License is required with the option to drive a company vehicle or receive a $500 auto allowance and gas card for driving a personal vehicle. If driving a personal vehicle, proof of personal insurance will be required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 + years of previous experience in plumbing, repair industry, HVAC or pool/spa industry.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to frequently push or pull objects weighing up to 50lbs
• Requires the physical ability to use hands, arms, feet and legs for repetitive movements, bending, squatting and reaching.
• Requires the physical ability to function in exposure to marked changes in Midwest temperature including humidity, rain, snow and cold and exposure to chemicals.
• Requires driving a vehicle with acceptable driving record.
