Hackensack Meridian Hospice is accepting college students who are looking for an unpaid healthcare learning experience. Volunteers, at least 18 years old, gain valuable healthcare experience by providing bedside companionship to patients who are at end-of-life.
Hackensack Meridian Hospice provides service to patients primarily in their homes; therefore, reliable transportation is required. Visits are typically 1-2 hours once a week based on your availability. Students must be available during the academic year. References will be provided after completing 50 hours of service. For more information, contact Hospice.Volunteer@HMHN.org.
