Overview Industrial Lubrication Analyst – Atlanta, GA. Georgia‑Pacific is a leading producer of tissue, pulp, paper, packaging, building products, and related chemicals with roughly 200 facilities and 35,000 employees. We seek a self‑driven individual committed to safety, manufacturing excellence, and product quality to help transform how we monitor oil health of industrial equipment. Using raw sample data, AI, and advanced tools, we are building a centralized oil analysis capability for all GP facilities. This candidate will be at the forefront of implementing this service across our pulp and paper sites. Our Team The Collaboration and Support Center partners with operating facilities, providing cross‑discipline expertise to achieve scalable problem solving for asset health, process safety, and process optimization. Responsibilities Analyze routine oil sample test data. Prioritize and elevate issues to facilities and help problem solve. Identify samples for advanced testing and conduct such testing. Attend monthly meetings with site asset health teams (remote). Work with SME’s during RCFA investigations. Conduct site visits as needed for problem solving and failure analysis (10%). Travel up to 25% of time. Qualifications MLT 1, MLA 1 required. At least 5 years of experience in maintenance or facility operations in an industrial manufacturing environment. Effective utilization of problem‑solving methods. Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to learn and use social networking tools. Proficiency with all Microsoft Office tools. Willing and able to travel to sites and to the Atlanta CSC Lab (up to 75%). Preferred Qualifications Maintenance or reliability experience at a paper mill. MLT II / MLA II / OMA I certifications. Advanced testing methods – Laser Net Fines, Fluid Scan, Filter Patch. Experience with process data historians such as OSI PI and Wonderware. Knowledge of mechanical precision maintenance fundamentals. Knowledge of big data analytics and its evolving role in industry.
