REACH Medical Holdings, operating as REACH Air Medical Services, is seeking a skilled Helicopter Pilot to support our Healthcare & Medical Services operations within the Transportation & Logistics department. In this role, you will safely operate company helicopters to provide emergency and interfacility air medical transport for critically ill and injured patients. Working closely with an experienced clinical team that includes flight nurses and paramedics, you will help ensure rapid response, safe operations, and timely transport to definitive care. As a Helicopter Pilot with REACH, you will be responsible for all aspects of preflight planning, in-flight operations, and post-flight duties. You will conduct thorough preflight inspections, review weather and NOTAMs, evaluate routes, fuel loads, and weight and balance, and ensure the aircraft is airworthy and mission-ready at all times. During missions, you will exercise sound aeronautical decision-making, maintain strict adherence to FAA regulations and company policies, and demonstrate exceptional situational awareness in a variety of conditions, including night, IFR, and NVG operations where applicable. You will operate in close coordination with dispatch, communications centers, and ground agencies to ensure rapid launch, safe routing, and efficient handoff of patients. You will frequently land at hospitals, accident scenes, and other unimproved or confined areas, requiring strong helicopter handling skills and attention to operational risk management. Your commitment to a safety-first culture is essential, as you will participate in safety briefings, hazard reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives that are central to REACH Air’s supportive and safety-focused work environment. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in helicopter aviation, preferably in air medical, EMS, or other mission-oriented commercial operations. You must hold a current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter Certificate, an Instrument Rating-Helicopter, and a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate. You should be comfortable working in a high-performance team, communicating clearly with medical crew and operations staff, and maintaining professionalism and composure in dynamic, time-sensitive situations. This position requires flexibility to work a rotating schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be expected to adhere to duty and rest regulations, maintain flight currency and proficiency, attend required training, and keep accurate flight and operational records. REACH Air offers a collaborative environment where pilots, clinicians, and support staff work together to provide life-saving services to the communities we serve. REACH Medical Holdings offers competitive compensation, along with a comprehensive benefits package that typically includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement savings options. If you are a mission-driven helicopter pilot who values professionalism, safety, and teamwork, and you are motivated to use your aviation skills to support critical patient care, we invite you to consider this opportunity to join REACH Air Medical Services.
