Job Summary

Twin Sun Solar LLC is a growing solar service and repair company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, seeking a licensed Master Electrician or Electrical Contractor to serve as Qualifying Party. We are a service-only company, meaning we do not install new systems. We repair, maintain, inspect, and service existing residential and commercial solar arrays across Central New Mexico and are expanding into Colorado and Arizona through 2026 and 2027.

This is a flexible arrangement designed for a licensed professional who wants steady, predictable income without active field involvement. Your license provides the legal foundation for our electrical contracting operations. We handle all fieldwork, scheduling, customer relations, and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the licensed Qualifying Party for Twin Sun Solar LLC under New Mexico Construction Industries Division requirements
• Review and sign off on permitted work scopes as required by NM CID regulations
• Be available for periodic consultation on electrical scope questions, typically by phone or text
• Maintain active NM Master Electrician or Electrical Contractor license in good standing
• Provide license number for permitting and business registration purposes
• Notify Twin Sun Solar LLC promptly of any changes to license status

What This Role Is Not

• This is not a full-time or part-time field position
• No daily reporting, job site visits, or hands-on labor is required unless mutually agreed
• No sales, estimating, or customer-facing duties

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico Master Electrician or Electrical Contractor license in good standing
• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, solar or low-voltage experience preferred
• Clean license history with no active disciplinary actions
• Comfortable working with a small, fast-growing service company in a limited oversight capacity

Compensation

• Flat monthly retainer, negotiable based on scope of involvement
• Simple written agreement governing responsibilities and liability
• Flexible, low time commitment, typically under 2 hours per month
