We are the Kelly family, located in Highland, Michigan, and we are seeking a dedicated elder care provider 15-20 hours a week. Our aim is to find someone who can offer companionship and support to our 94 year old father who is mobile, mentally sharp, and needs companionship and help around the house including meal prep, laundry, cleaning, driving, grocery etc. The person needs a good sense of humor (he likes joking around), be fun and be self-motivated. Someone who takes initiative to see and do what is needed around the house without direction. Needs to be a good communicator as this is a large family, 7 adult children who are in and out visiting. This is a part-time, live-out position ideal for someone looking to provide home care in a warm and welcoming environment. As a companion, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities, provide assistance with daily routines, and ensure a safe and comfortable home setting.
