Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BO reports , dashboards , and universes (IDT/UDT).
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries , stored procedures, and joins across multiple data sources.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and manage data models and BO Universes to support self-service reporting.
• Ensure report performance, accuracy, and alignment with business KPIs.
• Conduct unit testing , UAT support , and production deployment of reports.
• Collaborate with database administrators and data warehouse teams to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation, performance, or data mismatches.

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, IDT/UDT, Universe Design, Crystal Reports).
• Expert-level SQL skills - ability to write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries .
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts , ETL processes , and reporting best practices .
• Knowledge of joins , subqueries , CTEs , and performance tuning in SQL.
• Familiarity with report scheduling , distribution , and security setup in BO.

• Exposure to Power BI , Tableau , or other visualization tools.
• Experience with data modeling and semantic layer design .
• Understanding of cloud-based databases (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure SQL).
• Scripting or automation knowledge (Python/Shell scripting) is a plus.
