Do you enjoy meaningful conversations and want to make a positive impact? VITAS is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as Proactive Caller Volunteers , offering support and companionship to hospice patients and their families.
As a volunteer, you’ll make “check-in” calls to patients and their loved ones—providing a listening ear, ensuring they have needed supplies, and identifying any service concerns. You can volunteer from home, your dorm, or our local VITAS office.
