Job Description Position Summary The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's accounts receivable processes. This role involves leading the AR team, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records to support the company’s cash flow and financial stability. Duties & Responsibilities Oversee the creation and distribution of accurate and timely invoices to customers. Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual agreements. Supervise and mentor the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance and professional development. Monitor and manage customer payments, apply payments to accounts, and reconcile discrepancies. Develop and implement procedures for managing overdue accounts. Evaluate and manage customer credit limits and terms. Conduct credit checks and reviews to assess risk and minimize bad debt. Develop and execute collection strategies for overdue accounts, including contacting customers, negotiating payment plans, and coordinating with collection agencies if necessary. Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging reports, and cash flow forecasts to senior management. Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to invoices and payments. Resolve disputes and maintain positive customer relationships. Identify opportunities for process improvements in the AR function. Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable. Required Qualifications Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a accounts receivable or similar role. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field. Travel None required. Language Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Physical Demands Work Environment: 100% office. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on occasions. Carrying, Walking, Pushing, Climbing, Reaching. Working Conditions This job operates in an administrative office setting.
