Accounting Advisory Services Senior Manager

We are seeking a Senior Manager to provide general accounting and financial advisory services to our clients. This person will play an integral role in expanding Weaver's service offerings, specifically in outsourced accounting, monthly financial reporting and U.S. GAAP financial statements. The candidate will be responsible to build and manage a growing team.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other relevant field
• CPA license required or relevant accounting certification
• 10+ years of experience in audit and/or accounting role with a minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
• Advanced knowledge of accounting standards
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Experience preparing financial statements using GAAP or other basis of accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP and standards related to compiled/reviewed financial statements
• Draft and/or review consolidated GAAP financial statements, work papers, footnotes, etc.
• Perform technical accounting research on complex transactions and prepare documentation outlining issues and conclusions
• Experience with Excel at an advanced level including understanding and ability to use pivot tables, V-Lookups, H-Lookups, If/then statements, etc.
• Demonstrated prior team supervision and management experience with team accountability
• Demonstrated expert of business development, strategy, and practice development
• Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $190,000. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. In addition to compensation packages, Weaver offers competitive health benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
