Job Description
JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Associate (Entry Level) – Sheet Metal Fabrication
DEPARTMENT: SHEET METAL
REPORTS TO: DEPARTMENT MANAGER
DESCRIPTION : One or more of the following tasks may be assigned:
Punch press operation which includes loading programs, materials and die and verification of the quality of parts run.
Responsible for cutting raw material according to Manufacturing Routing requirements.
Work closely with the Inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations.
Laser cutter operation including loading programs, material, and verifying the quality of parts run.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ability to lift 50 – 70 lbs.
*Preferred but not required:
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Capable of using measuring devices to check own work (tape measure, mics, calipers, etc.).
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None Required
Preferred Skills:
1-2 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Forklift Certification/Experience helpful, but not required.
TRAINING REQUIRED:
None
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
